Enactment of the Civil Rights Act of l991 has thrust the issue of discrimination into the national spotlight. Various forms of discrimination, including sex harassment cases punctuated by the Judge Clarence Thomas-Anita Hill confrontation, and the enactment of the Americans With Disabilities Act underscore the concern employers are now feeling in this area.
